Bro. and Sis. Rose started the First Apostolic Church of Lompoc, California in the winter of 1970.
Pastor Dell Rose came to California during the Oklahoma dustbowl when he was three year old. The twelfth child of an Oklahoma ranching couple, Angeline and Dillard Rose. Pastor Rose traveled around the world one time and a half before he was twenty-one while serving in the US Navy, seeing some combat in the Korean Conflict. An accomplished singer who had entertained in the Bakersfield area during the middle 50’s before his conversion, he has sold many of his gospel recordings across the US.
Pastor Dell Rose and his wife Dorothy celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in October 2004. They continue to carry the torch of truth. This past May, the church celebrated it's 41st Anniversary.
